The Lowry Range property is owned by the Colorado State Land Board which is a constitutionally empowered state agency charged with managing certain lands for its school trust beneficiaries. The Lowry Range encompasses approximately 40 square miles of land bordering urbanized areas in the southeastern Denver metropolitan area. The Lowry Range is thought to be the single most valuable asset in the State Land Board’s portfolio.
