Pursuant to our agreement with the State of Colorado Board of Land Commissioners, the Company’s rates and charges are the average of the surrounding municipal water providers.
Rates and Charges are divided into two components which include a one time tap fee, generally paid by developers who then transfer the tap to an individual parcel of property and second annual usage charges. Annually, area water providers review their rates and charges to determine if any modifications are necessary. The Company reviews its rates and charges in March of each year to assure parity with our rate base comparison districts.
